Sixth Season (2026)

Kendra Mendoza starts her second season as the head coach of the SBVC softball team after serving four seasons as an assistant at San Bernardino Valley.

Mendoza started her collegiate career at College of the Desert, where she was part of back-to-back conference championship teams, and was an all-conference, and an all-state academic selection in 2015. During her soph­omore year at COD, she hit .350 and slugged .400. Behind the plate, she recorded only one passed ball on the season, threw out eight runners - ninth in the state. She graduated from COD with a degree in kinesiology before transfer­ring to Newman University on scholarship. As a senior at Newman, she posted only three passed balls and had a .979 fielding percentage in 31 games.
