Jabriel Traylor serves as a linebackers coach and brings a physical, disciplined approach to defensive football. Since beginning his coaching career in 2020, Traylor has gained valuable experience at the high school level, including serving as both a Defensive Coordinator and Associate Head Coach.

Traylor has built a strong reputation for developing fundamentally sound defenders who play with toughness, discipline, and football intelligence. His coaching philosophy centers on accountability, relentless effort, and attention to detail, while helping players understand the importance of their role within the team.

Throughout his coaching career, Traylor has helped multiple players earn opportunities to compete at Division I programs directly out of high school. He has also assisted many more student-athletes in continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level by emphasizing the importance of academic success and personal development.

As he transitions to the collegiate level, Traylor is excited for the opportunity to continue growing as a coach while learning under James Griffin and the rest of the coaching staff. He looks forward to contributing to the program’s culture and development of student-athletes both on and off the field.

Traylor is supported by his wife and their four children.
