Women's Team Taking Right Steps

The San Bernardino Valley College women's cross country team posted a strong finish at the Southern California Preview race on Oct. 10, as the Wolverines finished seventh amongst two-year schools at the event in San Diego.

Callie Frias was the first to cross the finish line for SBVC, posting a time of 20 minutes, 10.29 seconds on the 5 kilometer course, finishing 22nd overall. Priscilla De Leon was the next to stop the clock, finishing with a time of 20:59.66.

Ashley Reyna was the third SBVC runner across the line, finishing with a time of 21:36.15, while teammate Liliana Wilson wasn't far behind with a time of 21:44.81. Zyani Perez finished the scoring five for the Wolverines with a time of 22:07.47.
