Damien Moore enters his first season as the running backs coach at San Bernardino Valley College, bringing high-level collegiate playing experience and a strong foundation in player development to the Wolverines program.
A former Division I running back, Moore played at UC Berkeley, Fresno State, and Lamar University, gaining valuable experience across multiple offensive systems and coaching staffs. While at Cal, Moore emerged as a key contributor in the backfield, highlighted by a standout freshman and sophomore campaign.
During his collegiate career, Moore earned recognition as a Doak Walker Award Preseason Watch List selection and received Pac-12 Freshman Offensive Player of the Year Honorable Mention honors. Known for his vision, physical running style, and football IQ, he developed a reputation as a dependable and disciplined player within highly competitive running back rooms.
Moore’s experience competing at the FBS and FCS levels provides him with a unique perspective that he now brings to the two-year college level. His understanding of recruiting, player development, and the demands of college football allows him to effectively prepare student-athletes for advancement to four-year programs.
As running backs coach, Moore is responsible for developing the Wolverines’ backfield, emphasizing fundamentals such as ball security, vision, pass protection, and overall football intelligence. He is committed to building a culture of accountability, toughness, and continuous improvement while mentoring student-athletes both on and off the field.
A Southern California native, Moore is passionate about developing local talent and helping student-athletes reach their full potential at the next level.
